Uniqlo Soon In KLCC

Uniqlo 1st outlet in Bukit Bintang
While the Middle East is standing up for freedom, in Malaysia we’re queuing up for fashion. Yes, after the overwhelming response to Uniqlo’s first store, which opened at Fahrenheit 88 (previously KL Plaza) in November 2010 to a crowd of 2500 people who sat in line waiting for doors to open, Japan’s #1 fashion brand is set to conquer prime real estate in Suria KLCC. Let the queuing begin!

The new, second Uniqlo store in Malaysia takes over a 7862 square feet space on the Ground Floor of KLCC directly opposite the Swatch store at the bottom of the escalators.

The one-storey, standard-format store will also be the first in the world to carry visual monitors at the entrance of the store displaying the latest Uniqlo commercials and quirky digital content such as Uniqlock and Uniqlo Calendar.

That’s not all! Mr. Satoshi Onoguchi, Managing Director of Uniqlo (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd and Uniqlo (Singapore) Pte. Ltd is also quoted as saying, “Our goal to open five stores in Malaysia by end 2012.”
